MCA Cooper Associates have won the award of Consultant of the Year 2010 given by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) for their work in developing a Recovery Plan and supplying Interim Managers for Bicton College in Devon.
Malcolm Cooper and Neil Reed of MCA Cooper Associates together with Adrian Ford and David Henley of Bicton College who nominated MCA Coopers for the award, attended the presentation ceremony.
The citation for the award, which was presented by TV personality Hugh Dennis at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on 22nd November read:
"MCA Cooper Associates was a clear winner in this category. They rose to
a considerable challenge involving the financial recovery of a specific
client. The consultancy provided an effective interim management team at
very short notice and helped secure an excellent blueprint for the
organisation’s future."
In responding to the award Malcolm Cooper Managing Director of MCA said:
"It is a tremendous honour for us to receive this award from CIMA and
recognition of the efforts of our multi-disciplinary team of associates
who worked closely with the management and staff of Bicton College to secure the institution’s future."
